The City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 558) Order 1998
Victoria Street

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council, on 18th March 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.   The general effect of the Order will be further to amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1976, so that the hours during which the existing prohibition applies on waiting by vehicles (otherwise than waiting for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle), will be changed so that it will apply at any time in the length of Victoria Street specified in the Schedule to this notice.   The Order, which will come into force on 23rd March 1998, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday to Fridays inclusive at Hyder Consulting Ltd., Third Floor, 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, until 29th April 1998.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 29th April 1998.
