The Stopping-Up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 7) Order 1998
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, on the application of Lovell Partnerships Limited, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 7) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of highway land at Laindon Link, Basildon, to enable development consisting of the construction of 7 parking spaces, including one for a disabled person, to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Lovell Partnership Southern Limited by Basildon District Council on 17th July 1997 under reference BAS/0263/97. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for Eastern Region (Planning and Transport), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL (quoting GT/A1530/35/1/22) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Basildon District Council, The Basildon Centre, St. Martin’s Square, Basildon. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 21st March 1998 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
