TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of areas of highway land at Pilands Wood Road and Chamberlayne Road, Bursledon, in the county of Hampshire.
  If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this Notice to be carried out in accordance with the outline planning permission granted to the Borough Secretary and Solicitor by Eastleigh Borough Council, on 1st May 1997, under reference 32405/012.
  Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours durifng the 28 days commencing on 25th March 1998 at the offices of Eastleigh Borough Council, Civic Offices, Leigh Road, Eastleigh, Hampshire SO50 9YN, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Government Office for the South East, Head of Transport West (quoting reference GOSE/029/001/HAMP/009) at the address below.
  During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting reference GOSE/029/001/HAMP/009, and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport West, Government Office for the South East, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford, Surrey GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected by it.

Construction of a new church building, Community Hall, public open space, car parking and alterations to vehicular and pedestrian access off Chamberlayne Road, Pilands Wood Estate, Hamble Lane, Bursledon, Southampton.
