The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea revised layout of on-street parking places

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on 27th March made the above Orders, the general effect of which is as follows:   (a) convert a visitor parking bay in Iverna Court and Melbury Road to Diplomatic Parking;   (b) introduce “At Any Time Waiting restrictions” in various lengths of Beaufort Street, Drayton Gardens, Lexham Gardens, Old Church Street, Victoria Grove and Winterton Place;   (c) convert 2 existing visitor parking bays in Lots Road to solo motorcycle bays;   (d) rearrange the existing parking layout and provide an additional resident parking space in Phillimore Walk;   (e) rearrange the existing parking layout in Cottesmore Gardens with an overall loss of 1 visitor parking space to provide a “School Keep Clear” marking;   (f) introduce an additional resident parking space in Marloes Road by converting existing single yellow line;   (g) introduce an additional solo motorcycle bay in Fernshaw Road and Tadema Road by converting existing single yellow line;   (h) introduce an additional solo motorcycle bay in Eardley Crescent by converting an existing resident parking space;   (i) convert an existing resident parking space in Campden Grove and Holland Park to diplomatic parking.   Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation for the purposes of placing traffic signs on 30th March 1998, and for all other purposes on 13th April 1998, and all other relevant documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date the Orders were made in the Parking Management Office, Room 317, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, telephone 0171 361 2519.   Any persons desiring to question the validity of the orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
