New Road and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58
Notice of Substantial Road Works

Three months advanced notice is hereby given that Derby City Council, as Highway Authority, intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes.
  The streets in which these works will take place are:

5 Lamps Gyratory Circuit
  A6 King Street, Lodge Lane, Duffield Road, Kedleston Road, Garden Street.

  Works are expected to affect the carriageway around the 5 Lamps gyratory circuit.
  Works are expected to commence on 3rd August 1998.
  The works notified will include the following:
  Planing off carriageway, 40mm deep and resurfacing with HRA65 PSV or SMA wearing course. Adjustment of all ironwork and refurbishment of all road markings.

  Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from the completion of the works described above, without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
