Notification of Substantial Roadworks

In accordance with section 58 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, 3 months advance notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council (Highway Authority) intend to carry out substantial works for road purposes.   The streets in which these works will take place are as follows:   Road Number 3/31 Stenders Road, Mitcheldean. Resurfacing of carriageway and footway from junction with B4224 High Street for 100 metres. Start date July 1998.   Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street work may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of the work described in the above schemes without the consent of the said Gloucestershire County Council (Highway Authority) which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
