ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

The A6 Trunk Road (Haddon Road, Bakewell) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of and paragraph 27 of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which comes into operation in 1998.
  The Order will come into force on Friday, 10th April 1998. The effect of the Order is as described in The London Gazzette dated 15th January 1998, Ref. 925.
  A copy of the Order, and the relevant plan have been deposited at the office of the County Secretary, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire DE4 3AG, where they may be inspectred, during normal working hours. A copy may also be seen at, or obtained by application to the office of the Director, Network and Customer Services Division, Room 705, Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE, quoting Ref. NOD/0/A6/0/41/29/1/1.
  Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers contained in the above Act, or any requirement of the above Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with, may apply to the High Court before Tuesday, 19th May 1998, to suspend or quash the Order or any part of it.
