Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan Tendring District Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that on 14th April 1998 Tendring District Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for Tendring District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at Tendring District Council Offices, Planning and Building Services, Thorpe Road, Weeley, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex CO16 9AJ; Clacton Central Library, Station Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex; Harwich Library, Upper Kingsway, Dovercourt, Harwich, Essex; Frinton Library, 59 Old Road, Frinton-on-Sea, Essex; Brightlingsea Library, New Street, Brightlingsea, Essex; Manningtree Library, High Street, Manningtree, Essex, Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday, 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at Weeley Council Offices and during normal library opening hours at other inspection points.   The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 24th April 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.   Contact Officers: D.
