The Merton (Controlled Zone) (Parking Places) (No. ) Traffic Order 1998
Morden Hall Road

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The general effects of the Order will be to introduce 21 residents’ permit parking places along that length of Morden Hall Road, south-west side, from a point opposite the southern-most flank wall of No. 88 Morden Hall Road to a point 11.5 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 40-42 Morden Hall Road. The hours of operation of the bays will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday.   Nothing in the Order will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.   A copy of the proposed Order and a plan identifying the area affected by the proposed Order can be inspected during the Council’s normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, until 22nd May 1998, at the main reception, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof to the Head of Legal Services at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey SM4 5DX, quoting Ref.
