The Redbridge (Rayleigh Road, Woodford Green) (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 7) Order 1998

Revocation of Waiting Restrictions

Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, made the above-mentioned Order on 27th April 1998 under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The general effect of the Order will be to further amend the Redbridge (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1993, by removing existing one-hour waiting restrictions between the hours of 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays in Rayleigh Road, Woodford Green, for a distance of 9 metres at the south-west quadrant of its junction with Greenstead Avenue. The proposed changes are intended to provide additional parking space for residents.   The Order will come into operation on 11th May 1998.   A copy of the Order, of the above-mentioned Order of 1993 (and of the Orders that have amended that Order) together with a map of the area showing the actual length of the waiting restrictions and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, may be inspected during normal office hours, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Information Centre, Town Hall, High Road, Ilford, Essex, until 10th July 1998.   Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provison contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
