Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan Carrick District-wide Local Plan

On Friday, 24th April, Carrick District Council adopted their plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the Development Plan for Carrick District Council. The Development Plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the Council Offices, Pydar Street, Truro, Cornwall, during normal office hours, Monday to Thursday, 8.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. and Friday, 8.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m., and at the following locations during normal opening hours: Falmouth Library, The Moor, Falmouth, Cornwall; Penryn, Library, St. Thomas Street, Penryn, Cornwall; Perranporth Library, Ponsmere Road, Perranporth, Cornwall; St. Agnes Library, Polbreen Avenue, St. Agnes, Cornwall; and Truro Library, Union Place, Truro, Cornwall.   The proposals came into operaton on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any Regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 30th April 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
