TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled The Stopping-up of Highways (East Riding of Yorkshire No. 1) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of Sacred Gate, Hedon, in the East Riding of Yorkshire.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Director of Planning and Transport at the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, PO Box 213, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4US (quoting reference YHDOT E2001/35/1/3), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Hedon Town Hall, St. Augustines Gate, Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 8th May 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order, or of any provision contained therein.   The Departmental contact for any queries relating to this publication is J.
