Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan
South Derbyshire Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that, on 8th May 1998, South Derbyshire District Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for South Derbyshire. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
  Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at: South Derbyshire District Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, on Mondays to Thursdays from 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Fridays from 8.45 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.; Swadlincote Library, Civic Way, Swadlincote, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Etwall Library, Main Street, Etwall, on Mondays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Melbourne Library, Leisure Centre, High Street, Melbourne, on Mondays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Sinfin Library, Arleston Lane, Sinfin, Derby, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and at Woodville Library, 1 Hartshorne Road, Woodville, Swadlincote, on Mondays and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  The proposals come into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 8th May 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
