The Barnet (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1, 1997) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made, on 13th May 1998, an Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The general nature and effect of the Order will be to amend the Barnet (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) Order 1997 so that additional or amended restrictions are placed on waiting and loading by vehicles in the lengths of carriageway specified in the Schedules to this notice as part of the borough-wide waiting restrictions.   A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Tuesday, 26th May 1998, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) inclusive until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ and The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG.   Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
