Stopping-up of part of highway adjoining 106 Plymouth Road, Plympton, Plymouth
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (City of Plymouth) (formerly County of Devon) (No. SW 1) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of part of the highway adjoining 106 Plymouth Road, Plympton, Plymouth, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West (Transport), 5th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB, (quoting Ref. GOSW(T) 5051/35/1/298) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Plymouth City Council, Civic Centre, Plymouth PL1 2EW. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 14th May 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order, or of any provision contained therein. The construction of a private pathway, in accordance with planning permission granted to J. Hobbs by Plymouth City Council on 31st July 1997, under Ref. 97/0689.
