Declaration of Nature Reserve, Parishes of Kielder, Rochester and Falstone, County of Northumberland
Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Kielderhead National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 1998, made on 21st May 1998, the Nature Conservancy Council for England declared that the land containing 3,794.97 hectares or thereabouts situated in the parishes of Kielder, Rochester and Falstone, in the county of Northumberland and shaded grey on the plan attached to the said Declaration is being held by Forest Enterprise, a body approved by the Council, and managed as a nature reserve. Certified copies of the Kielderhead National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 1998 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of: Tynedale District Council, Hexham House, Hexham, Northumberland NE46 3NH; Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland; Forest Enterprise, Kielder District, Eals Burn, Bellingham, Hexham, Northumberland NE48 2AJ; English Heritage, E H Records Office, Room 230, 23 Savile Row, London W1X 1AB; MAFF Block 2, Government Buildings, Lawnswood, Leeds LS16 5PY; DETR, Room 922, Tollgate House, Houlton Street, Bristol BS2 9DJ; The National Trust, Northumbria Region, Scots Gap, Morpeth, Northumberland; and at the offices of the Nature Conservancy Council for England, at English Nature, Archbold House, Archbold Terrace, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 1EG; and English Nature, Northminster House, Peterborough PE1 1UA.
