Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) Notice of Full Review of a Local Plan

North Hertfordshire District Local Plan No. 2 with Alterations (Adopted 1996)

North Hertfordshire District Council announces the start of a full review of the above Plan. Before writing this new Plan, and to get a wide range of views, several workshops will be held; each one will relate to a town or a rural area of North Hertfordshire. This public participation exercise will run between 27th May 1998 and 13th October 1998.   All interested persons are invited and encouraged to make views or comments known at this stage. The usual procedures will follow with the intention to prepare an adopted North Hertfordshire Local Plan No. 3. This, with the adopted Hertfordshire County Structure Plan (1998), will form the Development Plan for North Hertfordshire and be the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Persons who would like to attend the series of workshops, or wish to be kept informed of the process please write to the Head of Planning Services, North Hertfordshire District Council, Council Offices, Gernon Road, Letchworth, Hertfordshire SG6 3JF.
