The Islington (Prescribed Routes) (No. 131) Traffic Management Order 1998
Gloucester Way and Myddelton Street, London E.C.1

Notice is hereby given that the Islington Borough Council on 18th May 1998 made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   2. The general effect of the Order will be to:   (a) Ensure that any vehicle proceeding in Gloucester Way in a southerly direction shall, at its junction with Myddelton Street, only turn right into Myddelton Street.   (b) Ensure that any vehicle proceeding in Gloucester Way in a northerly direction shall, at its junction with Myddelton Street, only turn right into Myddelton Street.   (c) Ensure that any vehicle travelling in Myddelton Street in an easterly direction shall, at its junction with Gloucester Way, only turn left into Gloucester Way.   (d) Ensure that any vehicle travelling in Myddelton Street in a westerly direction shall, at its junction with Gloucester Way only turn left into Gloucester Way.   3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply in relation to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, nor will they apply to pedal-cycles.   4. A copy of the Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to above, and of the Council’s statement of case for making the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks at The Legal Department, Town Hall, Upper Street, London N1 2UD. Please ask for reference LE/C/HGF.   5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the Regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for these purposes to the High Court.
