The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 11) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, on the application of Mrs. J. Neary, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 11) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway land adjacent to Green Man Road, Magdalen Laver, Essex, to enable development consisting of change of use of a public house to a residential dwelling to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted on appeal to Mr. A. P. Anderson on 15th November 1995, under Ref. T/APP/J1535/A/95/251904/P8.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for Eastern Region (Planning and Transport), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL (quoting GT/J1535/35/1/11) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Epping Forest District Council, Civic Offices, High Street, Epping, and on the Parish Council noticeboard situated on the junction of Green Man Road and Tilegate Road, Magdalen Laver.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 21st May 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
