CITY OF WESTMINSTER
The City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 572) Order 1998 Westbourne Grove/Chepstow Road

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 20th May 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
  The general effect of the Order will be further to amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1976, so that:

  (a) in the lengths of street specified in Schedule 1 to this notice, waiting by vehicles including waiting for the purposes of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle will be prohibited between 7.30 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive; and
  (b) in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this notice, the existing prohibition on waiting by vehicles including waiting for the purposes of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle will be changed so that it will apply between 7.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive and between 7.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. on Saturdays.

  The Order, which will come into force on 26th May 1998, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Hyder Consulting Ltd., Third Floor, 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, until 1st July 1998.
  Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 1st July 1998.

Schedule 1
Prohibition of Loading between 7.30 a.m. and 10 p.m. and 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays

Westbourne Grove:
  (a) the north side
      (i) between a point 10.06 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Chepstow Road and a point 26.21 metres east of that kerb-line;
      (ii) between a point 48.77 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Chepstow Road and the western kerb-line of Queensway;

  (b) the south side, between a point 27.43 metres east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 121 and 123 Westbourne Grove and the western kerb-line of Queensway.

Schedule 2
Prohibition of Loading between 7.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and between 7.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. on Saturdays

Chepstow Road:
  (a) the west side, between the northern kerb-line of Westbourne Grove and a point 18.29 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Bridstow Place;
  (b) the east side, between the northern kerb-line of Westbourne Grove and the southern kerb-line of Botts Mews.

Westbourne Grove:
  (a) the north side
      (i) between the eastern kerb-line of Chepstow Road and a point 10.06 metres east of that kerb-line;
      (ii) between a point 26.21 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Chepstow Road and a point 48.77 metres east of that kerb-line;

  (b) the south side
      (i) between the eastern kerb-line of Chepstow Place and a point 3.05 metres south-west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 125 and 127 Westbourne Grove;
      (ii) between a point 1.52 metres east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 121 and 123 Westbourne Grove and a point 27.43 metres east of that party wall;
