THE BACIE RETIREMENT BENEFITS SCHEME
Notice under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925
To all employees and former employees of the British Association for Commercial and Industrial Education and to any widows/widowers, children and other dependants of such employees or former employees. The BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme is in the process of being wound up. This means that the Trustees of the BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme need to establish exactly who the beneficiaries of the BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme are, and their entitlements to benefits, so that the Trustees can arrange for the assets of the BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme to be used to provide the pensions and other benefits due to them. If you have already received a communication about this and you have, or consider that you have, a right to benefit under the BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme, you should contact the Trustees’ advisers, Shephards, in writing and giving details of the circumstances. The contact address is: Shephards, 29 London Road, Bromley, Kent BR1 1DH. The Trustees intend to finalise the benefits of the beneficiaries of the BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme after 30th June 1998. Unless the Trustees already have notice of your rights to benefits, you will lose your right to claim those benefits from the BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme after 30th June 1998. For and on behalf of the Trustees of BACIE Retirement Benefits Scheme.
