Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan
On 29th April 1998 Carmarthenshire County Council adopted these proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for Carmarthenshire (that part of Carmarthenshire falling within the former Borough of Dinefwr but excluding the Brecon Beacons National Park). The Development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the following Carmarthenshire County Council offices, Environment Department, 40 Spilman Street, Carmarthen; Environment Department, Area Office East, Municipal Offices, Crescent Road, Llandeilo; Ammanford Town Hall, Iacennen Road, Ammanford; Department of Economic and Community Development, Glanaman Workshops, Tabernacle Road, Glanaman, Monday to Thursday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m; and at Llandovery Public Library, Castle Car Park, Llandovery; Brynamman Public Library, Public Hall, Brynamman during normal opening hours. The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question its validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption proposals, may within 6 weeks from 10th June 1998 make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
