Notice of Deposit of Proposals for a Local Plan West Somerset District Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that West Somerset District Council have prepared proposals for the above Plan. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection at Council Offices, 20 Fore Street, Williton and 37 Blenheim Road, Minehead, free of charge, between Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.   Objections to and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to the Planning Policy Officer, Enterprise and Development Unit, Council Offices, 20 Fore Street, Williton, Taunton, Somerset TA4 4QA, before 5 p.m. on 3rd August 1998. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and sent to the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 3rd August 1998 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals

  If no objections are received during the period for making objections West Somerset District Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period. B. D. Lang, Enterprise and Development Manager 22nd June 1998.
