Notice of Pre-Inquiry Proposed Changes to the Dover District Local Plan Deposit Draft 1996

Notice is hereby given that Dover District Council proposes to change the above deposit draft local plan in response to representations received to the proposed changes published in December 1997 and in the light of changing circumstances. The Proposed Changes do not include any changes relating to the former Royal Marines School of Music, Deal. Such changes are anticipated and will be published and advertised separately.   Representations are invited only on the Pre-Inquiry Proposed Changes June 1998. Comments received on other matters of the Deposit Plan will not be considered.   Copies of the deposit draft plan, the Council’s report considering the representations received as a result of the public consultation exercise on the previous proposed changes, and the Schedule of Pre-Inquiry Proposed Changes June 1998 are available for public inspection from 25th June 1998 until 5th August 1998, free of charge, during normal office hours at Planning Reception, Council Offices, White Cliffs Business Park, Dover, and at Dover District Council area offices at Maison Dieu Gardens, Dover; High Street, Deal; The Guildhall, Sandwich and The Police Station, Boulevard Courrieres, Aylesham.   The documents are also available for public inspection, free of charge, at the public libraries at Maison Dieu House, Biggin Street, Dover; Broad Street, Deal, and Market Street, Sandwich.   Alternatively, copies of the Schedule of Pre-Inquiry Proposed Changes June 1998 are available on request at the Council Offices at White Cliffs Business Park, telephone 01304 872477.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, only the Pre-Inquiry Proposed Changes June 1998 should be made on the comments forms provided and specify clearly the proposed change to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. Completed forms should be sent to J. R. Clayton, Director of Planning and Technical Services, Dover District Council, Council Offices, White Cliffs Business Park, Dover, Kent CT16 3PG, on or before Wednesday, 5th August 1998.   In making objections to, and representations in respect of, the Pre-Inquiry Proposed Changes June 1998 there is no statutory right to be heard at the public local inquiry.
