Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan Ribble Valley Districtwide Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that on 25th June 1998, Ribble Valley Borough Council adopted these plan proposals. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for the Borough of Ribble Valley. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at:   Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, Lancashire BB7 2RA, during normal office hours.   Clitheroe Library, Longridge Library, Mellor Library and Whalley Library, during normal opening hours.   The proposals came into operation on their adoption. Any person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity, on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 25th June 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
