Stopping-up of part of Threadneedle Street, Stroud, Gloucestershire
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Gloucestershire) (No. SW 2) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of part of Threadneedle Street, Stroud, Gloucestershire, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West (Transport), 5th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB (quoting Ref. GOSW(T)5056/35/1/101) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Stroud Town Council, Thanet House, London Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL5 2AA, and Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Westward Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL5 4UB. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 1st July 1998 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
