Development Briefs for Land at Lang Farm, Daventry

The District Council’s Planning Committee has resolved to invite comments on the draft Development Briefs prepared for proposed housing sites at Lang Farm 6, 7, 8 and 13A as identified in the Council’s deposited Local Plan.   The Development Briefs seek to guide the layout and design of housing on these sites. The deposited Local Plan expressly requires development proposals to have regard to such guidance. Once adopted in its final form, therefore, the Development Brief will be used as the basis for determining planning applications submitted to the Council for housing development.   The District Council welcomes comments from any interested party on the draft Development Briefs, which should be made in writing not later than 31st July 1998, and addressed to Planning Department, Daventry District Council, Lodge Road, Daventry, Northamptonshire NN11 5AF.   The draft Development Briefs can be inspected at Daventry Library, and at the Council Offices in Lodge Road, Daventry, during normal office hours.
