UNIVERSITIES OF OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE ACT 1923

Statutes made by Magdalen College, Oxford, on 13th February 1998, amending Statutes II, III, IV, VII, IX, X, XI, XVI to XXIII have been submitted for the approval of Her Majesty in Council, and notice of their having been so submitted is published in accordance with the provisions of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923.   The purposes of the Statutes are to define the duties of the Clerk to the College and the Librarian; to reflect the terms of the Articles of Association of Magdalen College School Limited; to reflect the fact that membership of the College pension scheme is voluntary; and to remove inconsistent or redundant text.
