Notice of Deposit of Proposed Amendments to Proposals for a Local Plan
Workingham District Local Plan 1996-2006

Wokingham District Council has prepared proposed amendments to its proposals for the above plan. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Wokingham District Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the proposed amendments to the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at Wokingham District Council, Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, Berkshire RG40 1WR, on Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Fridays 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m., from 8.30 a.m. on Friday, 10th July to 12 noon on Friday, 21st August 1998.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposed amendments to the proposals, should be sent in writing to Richard Ford, Senior Planning Officer, Wokingham District Council, Environmental Services Department, PO Box 157, Shute End, Wokingham, Berkshire RG40 1WR, before 12 noon on 21st August 1998. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and sent to the address specified above within the 6 week period ending at 12 noon on 21st August 1998, will have a right to have their objections considered at the public local inquiry, which is due to commence on Tuesday, 6th October 1998.   Further information is available from the District Council’s Wokingham office.
