Notice of Deposit of Proposals for a Local Plan
Hertsmere Local Plan
Hertsmere Borough Council have prepared proposals for the above plan. If, and when, the plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Hertsmere Borough Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at: The Reception Area of the Civic Office, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, from 8.30 a.m. to 5.15 p.m., Monday to Thursday and 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday; The Bushey Area Office, Rudolph Road, Bushey, Hertfordshire, from 9 a.m. to 4.45 p.m., Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Friday; The Potters Bar Area Office, The Wyllyotts Centre, Wyllyotts Place, Potters Bar, from 9 a.m. to 4.45 p.m., Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Friday; and The offices of Aldenham Parish Council, The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett, Hertfordshire, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Further copies may be inspected at Hertfordshire County Libraries, at Sparrows Herne, Bushey; Elstree Way, Borehamwood; Aldenham Avenue, Radlett; Mutton Lane and Oakmere Libraries in Potters Bar, during library hours. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to the Head of Planning, Planning Unit, Services Directorate, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire WD6 1WA, before 5 p.m., on Friday, 25th September 1998. Objections and representions should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specific address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on Friday, 25th September 1998, will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or hearing. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals
If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections Hertsmere Borough Council intend to adopt the proopsals at the expiry of that period. P. Copland, Chief Executive 14th August 1998.
