Notice of Deposit of Proposals for the Northumberland Waste Local Plan
Northumberland County Council has prepared proposals for the above plan. If, and when,
these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Northumberland.
The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting
that area. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection at the following
places during normal office hours: Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth;
Alnwick District Council, Planning Department, Allerburn House, Alnwick; Berwick-upon-Tweed
Borough Council, Wallace Green, Berwick-upon-Tweed; Tynedale District Council, Planning
Department, The Old Grammar School, Hallgate, Hexham; Blyth Valley Borough Council,
Planning Department, Seaton Delaval, Whitley Bay; Castle Morpeth Borough Council,
The Kylins, Morpeth; Wansbeck District Concil, Planning Department, Bedlington.
Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals, should be sent
in writing to the Assistant County Planning and Environment Manager, Northumberland
County Council, County Hall, Morpeth NE61 2EF, before 22nd October 1998. Objections
and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds
on which they are made. they may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at
a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.
Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified
above within the 6 week period ending on 22nd October 1998 will have a right to have
their objections considered at a local inquiry.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals:
If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making
objections, Northumberland County Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry
of that period.
