The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 17) Order 1998
The Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, on the application of R J Adams, Ardtully Ltd., he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 17) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway land adjacent to 2 Hall Lane, Shenfield, Brentwood, Essex, to enable development consisting of the change of use from highway to part of curtilage to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to R J Adams, Ardtully Ltd., by Brentwood Borough Council on 18th August 1997, under reference BRW/487/97. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to Mark Jones at the Government Office for Eastern Region (Planning and Transport), Room 135, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL (quoting GT/H1515/35/1/09) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Brentwood Borough Council, Council Offices, Ingrave Road, Brentwood, Essex. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 17th September 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
