City of Bristol (Various Roads, Barton Hill and Redfield Area, City of Bristol) (Eastern Zone) (20 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that on 17th December 1998, the City Council of Bristol made, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport, an Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that no person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. This restriction has previously been in force by virtue of a temporary Order.   The Order will come into operation on 19th September 1998, and a copy thereof together with a map and a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the undermentioned offices (callers should ask for Room 327, Statutory Orders, Legal Division) between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. S.
