Stopping-up of an Area of Unnamed Highway Verge Adjoining Tale House Cottage, Payhembury, Honiton, Devon
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Devon) (No. SW10) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of unnamed highway verge adjoining Tale House Cottage, Payhembury, Honiton, Devon, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South-West, Transport Team, 4th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB (quoting Ref. GOSW(T) 5051/35/1/307) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the Honiton Library and Information Centre, 48/50 New Street, Honiton, Devon EX14 8BS. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 25th September 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein. The change of use from agricultural/roadside verge to garden of Tale House Cottage, in accordance with planning permission granted to Mr. and Mrs. J. Krafft, by East Devon District Council, on 6th April 1998 under Ref. 7/65/98/P0339/00070.
