Highway at Moat Spring Barn/Farm, Gorsty Hill, Marchington Woodlands, Uttoxeter

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Staffordshire) (No. 12) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of highway at Moat Spring Farm/Barn, Gorsty Hill, Marchington Woodlands, Uttoxeter.   The Order, as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by East Staffordshire Borough Council, on 15th May 1998, under reference PA/18121/013.   Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands, at the offices of the Director, Planning, Transport and Environment, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting 5074/35/1/100), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the Town Hall, High Street, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire ST14 7HN.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 30th September 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
