The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 19) Order 1998
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, on the application of Mr. and Mrs. A. Price, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 19) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of all-purpose highway adjacent to 39 Barbrook Way, Bicknacre, Chelmsford, Essex, to enable development consisting of the change of use from highway to private use for incorporation into garden area to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Mr. and Mrs. Price by Chelmsford Borough Council on 6th January 1997, under Ref. 96/CHL/1168. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to Mark Jones at the Government Office for Eastern Region (Planning and Transport) Room 135, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL (quoting Ref. GT/ W1525/35/1/31), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Chelmsford Borough Council, Duke Street, Chelmsford, Essex, and on the noticeboard for Woodham Ferrers and Bicknacre Parish Council located in the Village Hall, Bicknacre, Essex. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 2nd October 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
