Proposed Pedestrianisation of a Highway at Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria

Notice is hereby given that a local Inquiry is to be held in connection with the proposal of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions to make an Order under section 249 of the above Act to provide for the extinguishment (with exceptions) of any right which persons may have to use the vehicles on Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness fronting the Town Hall from its junction with Market Street to its Junction Cornwallis Street.   The Inquiry will be held at the Town Hall, Barrow-in-Furness, on Tuesday, 27th October 1998, at 10 a.m., by an Inspector, a person hereby appointed by the Secretary of State for the purpose.
