The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives
notice that the proposed Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the
stopping-up of an area of unnamed highway at 51 and 52 Aldwych Road, Farringdon, Sunderland,
Tyne and Wear, has been formally withdrawn. The notification of the draft Order was
published on 15th September 1998, under the Government Office reference GO-NE/98/5038/35/13.
