British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1998 and Amendments No. 1 to the British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1998
The Ministers, that is to say the Secretary of State concerned with health in England,
the Secretaries of State respectively concerned with health and with agriculture in
Wales and in Scotland, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Department
of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland and the Department of Agriculture
for Northern Ireland, acting jointly, having on the recommendation of the Medicines
Commission caused to be published the British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1998 and
Amendments No. 1 to the British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1998, hereby give notice
in accordance with section 102(5) of the Medicines Act 1968 that the subject matter
contained in both the British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1998 and the said Amendments
shall take effect on 1st December 1998.
For the purposes of section 102(6) of the Medicines Act 1968, the Printer to Her
Majesty of all Acts of Parliament has been authorised by the said Ministers to print
copies of both the British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1998 and the said Amendments.
Copies of the British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1998 may be obtained from The
Stationery Office Publications Centre, PO Box 276, London SW8 5DT, quoting ISBN 0

Copies of Amendments No. 1 are supplied, free of charge, to registered purchasers
of the British Pharmacopoeia 1998.
