BURIAL ACT 1853
Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council
by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that burials should be discontinued
in the following places of burial and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 16th
December 1998, to order that such representations be taken into account by a Committee
of the Privy Council on 27th January 1999:
1. Holy Trinity Churchyard, Pelton, Chester-le-Street, County Durham;
2. The Churchyard of St. John the Baptist, Puttenham, Guildford, Surrey;
3. All Saints’ Churchyard, Crofton, Metropolitan District of Wakefield.
