THE LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BOSTON—VARIOUS FOOTPATHS) (CYCLE TRACKS) ORDER 1999
The above-named Order made on 15th January 1999, is about to be submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, or to be confirmed as an unopposed Order by Lincolnshire County Council. The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modification, will be to convert to shared cycle tracks/footpaths the following lengths of footpaths in Boston: Station Path, between Station Approach and Irby Street; Haven Bank, between Irby Street and Fydell Street; Witham Bank West, from Fydell Street north-west for about 610 metres; Irby Place, from Stl Botolph’s Bridge to the access road leading to the Police Station. It is proposed to widen the existing footpaths, where possible, to a maximum of 2.5 metres and segregate the pedestrian and cycle routes by a white line. A copy of the Order and the map contained in it may be inspected, free of charge, at the address given below and at the offices of Boston Borough Council, West Street, Boston, during normal office hours. Any representations or objections with respect to the Order must be sent in writing to the undersigned (for the attention of Traffic Section) before 4th March 1999, and should state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdraw, Lincolnshire County Council may, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, confirm the Order as unopposed. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State any representations or objections received and not withdrawn will also be submitted with the Order. P. Kirby, Director of Highways and Planning 4th Floor, City Hall, Lincoln LN1 1DN. 18th January 1999.
