Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustees are winding-up the above-named pension scheme. Any former employee of Milliken Woollen Speciality Products (formerly called Winterbotham Strachan & Playne) whose business was last conducted at Lodgemore Mills, Stroud, Gloucestershire, or any former employee of Hunt & Winterbotham whose business was last conducted at Cam Mills, Dursley, Gloucestershire and at 12 Golden Square, London, or any former employee of Strachan & Co., whose business was last conducted at Lodgemore & Frome Hall Mills, Stroud, Gloucestershire, or any former employee of William Playne & Co., whose business was last conducted at Longfords Mill, Minchinhampton, Stroud, Gloucestershire, or any former employee of Sykes & Hebblethwaite, whose business was last conducted at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, or any former employee of Samuel Salter & Co. Ltd., whose business was last conducted at Trowbridge, Wiltshire, who believes that he or she was a member of the scheme (and is not already receiving a pension in respect of their membership of the scheme) is requested to write to: R. Mitchell, Milliken Industrials Ltd., Wellington Street, Bury, Lancashire BL8 2AY, to make claims for benefits. Before 31st March 1999 claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth and details of when they worked for the companies named above. If any other person believes they have a claim against or an interest in the scheme, they are requested to write to the same address setting out full particulars of their claim before 31st March 1999. Please quote the scheme name in all correspondence. After 31st March 1999, the Trustees will secure benefits for any remaining beneficiaries having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice and will not be liable to any person for a claim of which they do not then have notice.
