NATIONAL PARKS AND ACCESS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1949 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE, PARISHES OF WEST HUNTSPILL, EAST HUNTSPILL, WOOLAVINGTON AND COSSINGTON, COUNTY OF SOMERSET
Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Huntspill River National Reserve No. 1 Declaration 1999, made on 8th March 1999, the Nature Conservancy Council for England declared that the land contained 148.18 hectares or thereabouts situated in the parishes of West Huntspill, East Huntspill, Woolavington and Cossington, in the county of Somerset and shown edged black on the plan attached to the said Declaration, is being held by the Environment Agency, a body approved by the Council and managed as a nature reserve. Certified copies of the Huntspill River National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 1999 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 3AR and at the offices of the Nature Conservancy Council for England, at Roughmoor, Bishop’s Hull, Taunton, Somerset TA1 5AA.
