ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14
THE A102 BLACKWALL TUNNEL NORTHERN APPROACH (TOWER HAMLETS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 1999
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, to enable the erection of gantry signs, the effect of which will be to close the A102 southbound off slip road from the mainline to the A11, at the “Bow Interchange“. The Order may be cited as the A102 Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach (Tower Hamlets) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 1999 and will come into force on Sunday, 18th July. The restrictions will apply when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed between 2200 hours and 0600 hours until Monday, 19th July 1999, and thereafter between the same periods each day until 0600 hours on Sunday, 1st August. Alternative Route During the closure of the southbound off slip road, traffic will be diverted by continuing along the mainline and exiting via the off slip road onto the A13 East India Dock Road, return to the northbound mainline using the A13 on slip road and exit onto the A11 using the northbound off slip road at “Bow Interchange“.
