NATIONAL PARKS AND ACCESS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1949 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DECLARATION OF NATIONAL RESERVE, COMMUNITIES OF LLANFIHANGEL ABERBYTHYCH AND LLANDYBIE, COUNTY OF CARMARTHENSHIRE
Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35(1)(a) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Carmel National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 1999, made on the twenty fourth day of July 1999, the Countryside Council for Wales declared that the land containing 85.1 hectares (210.3 acres) or thereabouts situate in the communities of Llanfihangel Aberbythych and Llandybie, in the county of Carmarthenshire and shown edged red on the plan attached to the said Declaration is the subject of an Agreement entered into with the Council, under the provisions of section 16 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949, and that the land is being managed as a national nature reserve. A certified copy of the said Declaration with plan attached has been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, at the offices of the Carmarthenshire County Council in Llandeilo from Monday to Friday inclusive during normal office hours. Certified copies may also be inspected at the offices of the Countryside Council for Wales at Plas Penrhos, Ffordd Penrhos, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 2LQ and at The Old Post Office, 56 Rhosmaen Street, Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire SA19 6HA from Monday to Friday inclusive during normal office hours.
