NOTICE UNDER PARAGRAPH 6 OF SCHEDULE 15 TO THE FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT 1992

Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Friendly Societies Commission for confirmation of the transfer of engagements of Manchester Unity Life Insurance Collecting Society, whose registered office is at Odd Fellows House, 40 Fountain Street, Manchester M2 2AB, to the central body of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Manchester Unity Friendly Society, whose registered office is also at Odd Fellows House, 40 Fountain Street, Manchester M2 2AB. Any interested party has the right to make written or oral representations to the Commission regarding the application. Written representations, or notice of intention to make oral representations, should be sent to the Commission at 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS, so as to arrive before 6th October 1999. It would be helpful if the nature of any oral representations could be stated. The Commission intends to hear any oral representations on 1st November 1999.
