UNIVERSITIES OF OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE ACT 1923

A Statute made by the Governing Body of Emmanuel College, in the University of Cambridge, on 18th October 1999, amending Statute XVI (of Research Fellowships), has been submitted for the approval of Her Majesty in Council, and notice of its having been submitted is published in accordance with the provisions of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923. The principal purpose is to replace “pretermit” with the “intermit” in Statute XVI, and to add to section to the Statute which ensures that time taken as maternity leave does not reduce a Research Fellows entitlement to intermit her Fellowship.
