NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that R. Mayall & Daughter, of Lea Hall, Harmer Hill, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole into sandstone at National Grid Reference SJ 4929 2198, at Shotton Farm, Harmer Hill, Shrewsbury, in the parish of Myddle, Broughton. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 14 cubic metres per hour, 75 cubic metres per day, 3,000 cubic metres per year, between April and October each year. The water will be used for horticultural spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Shotton Farm, Harmer Hill, Shrewsbury, between 17th November 1999 and 24th December 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
