NOTICE OF PRE-INQUIRY PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE GUILDFORD BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN DEPOSIT VERSION 1999

Following consideration of objections duly made on the Guildford Borough Local Plan Deposit Version 1999, Guildford Borough Council has prepared pre-inquiry changes with the Council’s reasons for proposing them. Copies of the pre-inquiry proposed changes are available for public inspection from 6th December 1999, free of charge, as follows: Guildford Borough Council Offices, Monday to Wednesday, 0830 hours to 1700 hours, Thursday, 0830 hours to 2000 hours and Friday, 0830 hours to 1630 hours; Ash Parish Council Offices, Monday to Wednesday, 1000 hours to 1600 hours, Thursday, 1000 hours to 1800 hours and Friday, 1000 hours to 1600 hours; Ash Library, Tuesday and Thursday, 1000 hours to 1300 hours and 1400 hours to 1700 hours, Friday, 1000 hours to 1300 hours and 1400 hours to 2000 hours, Saturday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours and 1400 hours to 1600 hours; Horsley Library, Tuesday and Wednesday, 1000 hours to 1300 hours and 1400 hours to 1700 hours, Friday, 1000 hours to 1300 hours and 1400 hours to 1900 hours, Saturday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours and 1400 hours to 1600 hours; Guildford Library, Monday and Friday, 0930 hours to 2000 hours, Tuesday and Thursday 0930 hours to 1700 hours, Wednesday, 0930 hours to 1300 hours and Saturday, 0930 hours to 1600 hours. Counter objections to, and representations in respect of, the pre-inquiry proposed changes should be made in writing to Simon Birch, Director of Environmental Planning Services, Guildford Borough Council, Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford, Surrey GU2 5BB, before 1700 hours on 24th January 2000. Forms for making representations are available from the above offices. The Public Local Inquiry into objections to the Guildford Borough Local Plan Deposit Version 1999 will begin on Tuesday, 9th May 2000 and the Inspector will conduct a pre-inquiry Meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 8th February 2000 in the Council Chamber of Guildford Borough Council at the above address. The purpose of the pre-inquiry Meeting is to discuss the procedures, programme and timetable of the inquiry.
