The following notice is in substitution for that which appeared on page 432 of The London Gazette dated 17th January 2000:

UNIVERSITIES OF OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE ACT 1923

A Statute made by the University of Cambridge, amending Statute D, has been submitted for the approval of Her Majesty in Council, and notice of its having been submitted is published in accordance with the provisions of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923. The purpose of the amendment is to allow for the appointment of University Senior Lecturers.
